Report the incidentYou contact your insurance company and open a claim. From here, your insurer manages the process.

Insurer engages BuilderYour insurer contacts SCL to assess the damage. They may also request other approved builders for comparison. We contact you within 24 hoursSCL reaches out to you to book a suitable time. You'll receive your estimator's name in advance. Look for our uniform and sign-written vehicle.

On-site assessmentOur estimator introduces themselves, assesses the damage, explains the repair approach, and prepares a scope of works with an estimated cost. We step you through our findings.

Submission to insurerWithin 48 hours of the visit, we send the scope and estimate to your insurer.

Insurer review and selectionYour insurer reviews our scope against your policy and appoints an approved builder. You can express a preference for SCL.

Build planning and startOnce appointed, we confirm start dates, send an introduction and Health and Safety plan, assign a dedicated Project Manager, and schedule trades.

Repairs, updates, and handoverWe deliver repairs to the building code, keep you updated at least weekly, and walk you through the finished work and ask you to sign for satisfaction of our works. We will then notify your insurer.
